We try to keep our website as up to date and informative as possible.  On our website pages we provide many useful links to other pages of our own and to pages on external websites such as the The Arts Society Sussex Area and the Petworth Festival.

Founded in 1969, The Arts Society West Sussex became the 20th member of NADFAS (National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts) and we continue to thrive as a friendly group of people who share a common interest in the arts and also have a firm commitment to them.

Our meetings are held, normally at 2.00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month, at Fittleworth Village Hall (for a Google Map click here ) which has excellent facilities, a car park, and is easy to reach by car from all directions. Being located right in the middle of West Sussex helps to draw our membership from a very wide area.

We take great pride in our programme of Talks which covers a wide range of topics in the fine and applied arts, including architecture, furniture, music, ceramics, paintings and many others. Every year we organise highly enjoyable visits to historic houses and gardens, museums and other places of interest. In addition The Arts Society Sussex Area has special interest days in to various aspects of art.
